Offerings
-
We are a movement studio that offers a variety of Barre, Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training, and Dance classes for all levels.
We occasionally offer Pre-Natal and Meditation classes as a series.
-
Barre classes are designed to mobilize and strengthen your body using the ballet barre as an assistant and alignment tool. These classes offer functional movement with mobility training through dynamic movement sequences. Integrating breath and mindful movement to music creates a full body workout blending strength training, pilates, yoga and dance. No previous dance knowledge or training required. Explore our different Barre Class Styles here.
-
Our instructors lead contemporary mat-based Pilates classes using props such as weighted balls, squish balls, and resistance bands.
All props, mat, and towel are provided for you, just bring your water bottle.
-
Our yoga offerings are rooted in traditional yogic principles, including breath awareness, mindful movement, meditation, and the cultivation of a deeper connection between body, mind, and self.
While our instructors come from a variety of training backgrounds and may draw inspiration from traditions such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Kundalini Yoga, we do not adhere exclusively to a single lineage or style. Instead, each teacher brings their own experience and perspective while honouring the teachings, practices, and traditions that have shaped yoga throughout its history.
All yoga Instructors have completed a minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through a recognized teacher training program and continue to develop their practice through ongoing education and study.
-
The Clinic offers Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), personal training, holistic nutrition coaching, movement assessments, and other services designed to support movement, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
What makes our practitioners unique is that they are also movement educators. Their understanding of movement extends beyond their individual disciplines, allowing them to better understand how the body moves, adapts, performs, and recovers. This integrated approach helps bridge the gap between treatment, education, and movement practice.
RMT appointments are available in 30, 60, and 90-minute sessions. Personal Training sessions are available in 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions.
Visit The Clinic page for current services, practitioners, and availability.

Classes and Schedules

Booking online is recommended as our studio class capacity is set to ensure you have the room to move and breathe comfortably in class.
Walk-ins are welcome, provided there are spots available in the class!
VIRTUAL:
All livestream virtual classes must be booked online in advance to ensure you receive the link to join in.

If your name is on the waitlist it is assumed you would like to take class.
Our waitlist confirmation system is automated. Reservation updates are based on cancellations from confirmed bookings, no matter the time of day or night. If plans change and you long longer want to take the class, we ask that you remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid the charges in the event you've missed the confirmation communication, causing a "no show" of attendance.
As many of our community members book their classes in advance, often they are booking for multiple classes on the same day. Once they have been confirmed into a class they often release the other class reservations, opening spaces to our community :)
If a waitlist reservation is confirmed before the 5hrs cancellation window, the cancellation policy applies. If you are 'waitlist confirmed' within the 5hr late cancellation window and communicate through email, text, phone or cancel the reservation on the app, no charge will be applied to your account.
PLEASE NOTE: If cancelling through the app within the 5hr window, an automated message will be sent indicating you will be charged. This is incorrect. No fee will be charged in the case.
When a space becomes available, you will be added to the confirmed class list. Depending on your account setting, an automated email or text will be sent to confirm the reservation. We will also send an additional email from hello@barrecollectiveto.com to ensure you received the confirmation.
With the 2-Week Unlimited Intro Offer you will receive a "grace period" for one late cancellation/ no show class, all others will be charged. If you are unable to make it to class, be sure to cancel before 5hrs to the start time of the class to avoid the $20 cancellation fee.
Have you joined multiple waitlist? Once you have been confirmed into a class, please remove yourself from all remaining waitlist(s) if you do not intend to take the additional class. Our FDC team will not remove you from a waitlist without communication. Holding this space if confirmed into the class will be considered a “no show” of attendance and the cancellation policy will be applied.
-
We require a minimum of 5 hours' notice to cancel an in-studio class.
If you cancel with less than 5 hours' notice:
• Single Drop-In and Class Pack reservations will be considered attended and the class will be deducted from your account.
• ALL ACCESS Monthly, 6-Month, and 1-Year Unlimited Membership holders will be charged a $20 Late Cancel/No Show fee.
• 2-Week Unlimited Intro Offer holders receive one complimentary Late Cancel/No Show. Any additional Late Cancel/No Shows will be subject to the applicable fee.
Classes can be cancelled online, through the app, or by phone. If you are unable to reach us, please leave a voicemail. Voicemails are time-stamped and will be used to determine whether cancellation fees apply.
If you have any questions, please contact us at hello@barrecollectiveto.com or 416-762-2286.

As we offer BCTO Education courses, check the schedule for Community Collective classes led by the graduates of our BCTO Certification courses.
Our intention is to provide our Teacher Trainees the opportunity to lead classes within a supportive setting to develop into their own unique teaching style using the tools gained from the courses we provide.
In an effort to support and make our Teacher Training Education accessible, Classes are $15 and all proceeds go towards a scholarship for marginalized community members for our certification courses.
We also work with lululemon to provide classes that support local charities. We love and look forward to introducing you and inviting you to our upcoming events!

We are always interested in connecting with passionate individuals who align with our values and community. While we may not always have active positions available, we welcome introductions from those interested in joining our team.
We encourage you to visit the studio, take a class, and get to know our community before reaching out. When you're ready, send us an email at hello@barrecollectiveto.com and tell us a little about yourself, your experience, and the type of role you're interested in.

We can’t wait to meet you! Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first class so we can give you a full tour to get you familiar with the space. We’d like for you to have time to complete the necessary paperwork and make sure you are all set to move with us!
Mats, towels, and all the props you need are provided for you. All you need to bring is workout clothes and a water bottle, and we’ll do the rest!
-
Classes begin on time and late arrivals are permitted for up to 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.
If you have reserved a spot and arrive after class has started, your reservation may be released to a standby community member who is present and ready to participate. If your spot is given to a standby participant, no Late Cancel/No Show fee will be charged.
This policy supports a safe and uninterrupted class experience for both clients and Instructors. The opening moments of class often include important movement instruction, technique cues, and class-specific information designed to help clients move safely and successfully throughout the session.

We are a shoeless fitness space.
The sensory receptors on the soles of the feet play an important role in proprioception, your body's ability to sense position, movement, and balance. Training without shoes can enhance body awareness, stability, alignment, and coordination while encouraging more natural movement patterns.
Our studios are equipped with shock-absorbing floors designed for shoeless movement. While most clients choose to practice barefoot, gripped socks such as ToeSox are welcome and available for purchase at the studio. FootUndeez, half soles, and contemporary dance shoes are also permitted.
PLEASE NOTE: Sneakers, training shoes, jazz sneakers, and other rubber-soled footwear are not permitted in our studios, regardless of whether they are designated as indoor or "clean" shoes.
-
Not at this time. Our shower facilities are currently under construction and will be available once completed.
In the meantime, clients are welcome to change in either of our washrooms.
Towels are provided complimentary for all classes, so there is no need to bring your own :)
-
No, we have mats and all the props you need to support your practice. However, we do understand that you may just want to practice with the comfort of your own mat. The choice is yours…
All you have to do is show up, embrace where you are that day and celebrate YOU!
-
Yes. Elevator access is available to both Studio A and Studio B.

Please note that elevator access is currently available to the studio levels only.

As we are not required by law to allow support animals within our studio, we will not allow entry into class if a support animal is present.
Service Animals ARE welcomed :)
